Adrienne Banfield Norris, a.ka Gammy, is the outspoken TV host and matriarch of her family. Born and raised in Baltimore, she graduated from Coppin State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Following a successful career in women’s health, she hosted the Emmy award-winning show Red Table Talk on Facebook Watch alongside her daughter, Jada, and granddaughter, Willow. This groundbreaking show became a platform for open honest discussions about family, relationships, mental health, and social issues, touching the lives of millions.
 


Adrienne dives into different conversations on her podcast Positively Gam where she discusses everything from current events, lifestyle topics and the joys of embracing the golden years. Season 1 and 2 are available to listen on Apple Podcast or any major podcast streaming platform. On the final season (season 6) of OWN’s Black Love, Adrienne and her husband Rodney can be seen discussing the highs and lows of their relationship.
 


She is an open book when it comes to her own struggles with battling addiction and her remarkable journey to sobriety. Her personal growth has been a source of inspiration for many. Currently, she is 30+ years clean. 

In addition to her personal growth, Adrienne’s personal hobbies are traveling, beauty and fashion, roller skating, doing the dance Chicago stepping, fitness, and reading.
